Lighthouse Association Management Successfully Delivers Annual Conference and Trade Show for Client.

LighthouseAMC’s client, The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) is the producer of the world’s leading marina and boatyard conference. The annual International Marina and Boatyard Conference (IMBC) took place January 28-30, 2015 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL. This year, IMBC was the largest and most successful show LighthouseAMC and AMI have seen since its inception, 13 years ago. Overall -registration was 15% from the year previous.

As part of this year’s show, LightouseAMC worked with vendors to create “new demo” presentations on the show floor. These provide an opportunity for our vendors to provide live “info-mericals” putting the participants directly in front of the vendor’s particular service or product. MYMIC, an exhibitor who take advantage of this exciting idea told IMBC:

“The new product demo has been fantastic for MYMIC Training Technologies. We entered the marina marketplace at IMBC 2014 and took advantage of the new product demo. It was a great tool to help build brand awareness for our business. As a result of the demo, we secured approximately 50 new customers. We had such great success, we opted to take advantage of the demo again at IMBC 2015 to help promote new products and services. We experienced fantastic results again! We are looking forward to IMBC 2016 and have already begun to work on a new product to introduce at a demo next year.”

Geared specifically towards marina and boatyard owners, operators, and managers as well as dock masters, harbormasters, boat builders and repairers, and industry consultants, IMBC is where dedicated marine professionals gather to exchange information, talk about the future of the industry, explore new methods and techniques, receive updates on revised standards and established rules, and discover new products.
